B2B Facebook Ads Examples From the Ad Library

B2B Facebook ads that keep running sell one conversation or one deliverable, not a capability deck. The live examples in the Meta Ad Library make that obvious: long-running creatives name a trigger, a job, or a constraint, then ask for a call, a quote, or a guide.
This is a swipe-file for agencies, industrial, professional services, and wholesale. Software products with a trial path live in SaaS Facebook ad examples. The library search is the same. The formats that last are not.
What do long-running B2B Facebook ads look like?
Five patterns cover most of what stays live.
1. The trigger-first static. First line is the situation. "Plant shutdown in 90 days." "Hiring your first SDR." "Need 8,000 units by November." The firm name is secondary.
2. The operator to camera. Owner, engineer, partner, not a hired presenter. They name who they take and who they do not. Low production. High trust.
3. The deliverable offer. A spec review, a plant walkthrough, a media audit, a sample pack, a 20-minute teardown. Concrete. Time-boxed. This is what makes a lead ad worth filling.
4. The lead form. Instant form with two or three qualifying questions. Form anatomy is in Facebook lead ad examples. The library will not show the form. Infer it from the creative.
5. The proof, specific. Named company, named role, named job done. Logo walls with no sentence attached are filler. A one-line case is a swipe.
| Format | Typical CTA | What to steal |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger-first static | Book a call / quote | Situation in line one |
| Operator to camera | Call | The "not for" qualifier |
| Deliverable offer | Get the teardown | How specific the offer is |
| Lead form | Instant form | Qualifiers you can infer |
| Specific proof | See how / call | Role plus job, not a logo row |
How do I find B2B Facebook ads in the Ad Library?
Open facebook.com/ads/library. No account needed. Search firm Pages first, then job and trigger phrases.
A useful pass:
- Country on. Trade language and proof norms differ by market.
- The five firms you actually lose RFPs to, plus two in the tier above you.
- Job language, not "B2B". "injection moulding quote", "cold storage fit-out", "B2B lead gen audit", "wholesale packaging".
- Role plus job. "ops director downtime", "finance month end close" if you sell into that function.
- Started running on. That date is the winner signal. Spend and engagement are hidden on commercial ads.
The library is free and has no download button. Ads vanish when paused. The political/EU API does not cover commercial B2B ads.
Which B2B ad formats actually keep running?
Trigger plus deliverable. Brand films and "full-service partner" lines churn.
What you will see a lot of, and should treat as decoration:
- Aerial shots of a factory or an office with no job named.
- "Trusted by industry leaders" and a logo row.
- Stock handshake.
- Thought-leadership clips with no CTA, unless they have been live for months.
- Capability carousels with six icons.
What you will see less of, and should study harder:
- A 20-second operator video that names one constraint.
- A static that is only the trigger plus a time-boxed offer.
- A sample-pack or spec-review lead ad.
- A case that names the role and the job, not the vanity metric.
B2b facebook ads that last look like a good outbound email. Specific, a bit dry, easy to say yes or no to. If the ad could run for any firm in the directory, it is probably a short-runner.
The wider format vocabulary is in Facebook ad examples. Use that for card anatomy. Use this page for what non-SaaS B2B actually keeps paying for.
SaaS is different because the product can close itself with a trial. Broader B2B usually cannot. That is why the CTA on long-running ads in this file is a conversation, a quote, or a sample, not a "start free" button.
What should I copy from a B2B ad, and what should I leave?
Copy the trigger and the offer. Leave the face, the case, and the logo.
Copy:
- The situation in line one, in the words an operator would use.
- The deliverable. Audit, sample, teardown, site visit, quote.
- Who they do not take. "Not for one-off jobs under X" is a qualifier.
- How they prove relevant work without a vanity metric.
- The CTA type. Call, form, calendar, WhatsApp, sample request.
Do not copy:
- Another firm's people, plant footage, or customer logos.
- Case numbers you cannot put on your own site.
- A competitor's "Started running on" date as if it were your result.
- Their exact script.
Second pass: click through. Long-running b2b facebook ads usually land on a service page or a short form that repeats the same job. If the ad is a moulding quote and the page is a 12-service mega menu, the click is leaking. Note it.
The qualifier is the targeting. Meta will not let you laser-target "plant managers at 200-person manufacturers" the way a LinkedIn ad might. The first line has to do that job. (LinkedIn is a different channel and a different brief. Stay in the library for this one.)
How do I save a B2B swipe file before ads vanish?
Do not dump four screenshots into a Notion page and call it a war room. You will lose primary text, the start date, and the exact offer.
Our free Meta Ad Library Downloader adds a Download button on facebook.com/ads/library. HD video, images, full carousels. Bulk ZIP plus a searchable index.html swipe board and a CSV. Free, no account, runs in the browser, nothing through Klipio servers. Not affiliated with Meta.
Get it from the Chrome Web Store. Current listing is v1.2.31, 31 languages.
CSV columns that stay useful after a rebrand:
- Firm and the job you searched.
- Format (static, operator, deliverable, form, proof).
- CTA.
- Start date.
- Whether a named case appears.
Save the primary text. A lot of B2B creative is a generic plant photo. The swipe is the first sentence.
What searches actually surface useful B2B ads?
Pages, then jobs, then constraints.
Starter list, replace with your vertical:
- Downtime, changeover, lead time, MOQ, compliance deadline.
- First hire, first warehouse, first export, first agency of record.
- The object you make or install, in buyer English.
- The role plus the job.
Keyword search is exact-ish. Try the trade name and the colloquial name. Try "machine shop" and "CNC quote". A hyphen will hide a Page running a perfectly good ad.
Sort by start date. The oldest still-running trigger ads are the brief. Last week's brand film is a mood board.
Ignore ads that only retarget site visitors if you are building a cold-angle file. Those ads assume the person already requested a spec.
The library hides spend, so a national distributor's two-day burst can look as loud as a 30-person shop running a winner for a year. The date on the card is the filter.
The short version
B2B Facebook ads that last name one job, one deliverable, and one next step. Search the Ad Library by firm and by operator language, trust the start date, and save the copy before it disappears. Copy the angle. Leave the asset. If you sell software with a trial, use the SaaS file instead.
FAQ
What do good B2B Facebook ads look like?
They name a trigger or a job in the first line, offer a concrete next step (call, quote, sample, teardown), and show an operator rather than a stock office. Capability decks rarely last.
How is this different from SaaS Facebook ads?
SaaS can send cold traffic to a trial or a product demo. Broader B2B usually cannot. The surviving CTA here is a conversation or a deliverable, not "start free."
How do I find competitor B2B ads on Facebook?
Use the Meta Ad Library at facebook.com/ads/library. Search the firm Page, then search job and trigger phrases. Filter to your country. Read the "Started running on" date.
Do lead ads work for B2B?
They work when the offer is worth two taps and the form asks a qualifier. The library will not show the form. Cheap, unqualified leads waste sales time.
Can I reuse a competitor's case study in an ad?
No. Study the trigger, the offer, and the CTA. Do not reuse logos, footage, or testimonials. Copy the angle, not the asset. This is not legal advice.
Why do B2B ads vanish from the Ad Library?
The library only shows active ads. When a firm pauses a test, the card disappears. There is no native history for commercial ads, so save the search while it is live.
