Klipio respects intellectual property rights. We're a tool that fetches links our users provide — we don't host a library of content — but if you believe your work was infringed through our service, here's how to tell us.
How Klipio works (and what it doesn't store)
Klipio doesn't host, index, or keep a catalog of videos. When a user pastes a link, we fetch that specific file for that user and then delete it. Because of that, the fastest fix is usually to have content removed at its source platform. Still, we take copyright seriously and will act on valid notices.
Filing a copyright notice
If you're a rights holder (or authorized to act for one) and believe your work has been infringed through Klipio, send a written notice to [email protected] that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you say was infringed.
- The exact URL(s) or enough detail for us to identify the material in question.
- Your contact information (name, email, address, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We aim to review valid notices promptly. Filing a knowingly false claim of infringement can carry legal liability, so please only submit notices you believe in good faith are valid.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was wrongly identified or removed, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] with your signature, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to jurisdiction in your district.
Repeat infringers
We may restrict or block access for anyone who repeatedly uses Klipio to infringe copyright.
A note to our users
Please only download content you own or have the right to use. See our Terms of Service for the rules, and our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
